Over the last several months, our donors and volunteers at NursingHomePPE have continued working hard to get more PPE donations into the hands of nursing homes throughout Southern California. Here are some highlights!
Pictured above are our donations to Beachside Nursing Center, Broadway By the Sea, Community Care and Rehabilitation Center, Newport Subacute Healthcare Center, Regents Point - Windcrest, Southland Care Center, and Whittier Hills Healthcare Center.
We would like to give a special thank-you to US FIRST Robotics Team 7157: µBotics, Mr. Chris Klann, and Mr. Jeffrey Brown for providing and helping deliver such generous donations of 3D printed face shields and face masks to the nursing facilities featured above!
As always, we are so grateful to all of our donors and volunteers for making these much-needed donations possible and for helping the staff members and residents in nursing homes throughout Southern California stay protected despite this ongoing wave of COVID-19 cases. Your generosity and altruism are truly appreciated, and they have not gone unnoticed!
"Thank you so, so much, I truly appreciate this donation like you can’t imagine. You’re keeping all of us safe and all our seniors safe. Today, we will give one [face shield] to a family member who will use it to safe goodbye to her mom who is very ill. Without these, we wouldn’t be able to do it. Thank you so much." - Whittier Hills Healthcare Center
Thank you to all of our donors and volunteers for making life-changing interactions like these possible and for everything you are doing to help our communities stay safe during these challenging times. Let's stay strong!
